Editing Credit Card Types

X-Cart shopping cart software allows you to define the credit card types that your store will be able to accept. This is done in the 'Edit Credit Card Types' section that can be accessed by clicking on Credit card types in the Administration menu. In this section you can create, modify and delete card types. Please refer to the check_cc_number_script.tpl file to find out if JavaScript validation is supported for a specific card type.

To add a credit card type:

1. In the 'Add credit card type' subsection of the 'Edit Credit Card Types' form enter the card code and the card type.

2. If the new credit card type requires CVV2, select the appropriate check box.

3. Click on Add new.

To update a credit card type:

1. In the 'Edit Credit Card Types' form find the card type you would like to update.

2. Change the necessary details.

3. Click on Update.

To delete a credit card type:

1. In the 'Edit Credit Card Types' form find the card type you would like to delete.

2. Select the check box next to this credit card type. Use the Check all / Uncheck all links to select/unselect all the boxes.

3. Click on Delete selected.
